Shopping Centre undergoing renovation with a requirement to include backup generator power to ensure business continuity for the retailers should the mains fail.
Before the installation took place at the site during working hours, the Project Manager at JS Power organised Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) through their electrical contractor. These were issued for all the required electrical work, fuse board replacement and safe removal of a small amount of asbestos on the control panel.
A temporary generator supply was also provided whilst Engineers installed a new distribution system and cabling.
Commissioning of the commercial diesel generator took place during normal working hours and a Warranty plus NICEIC Electrical installation certificate was issued on completion.
JS Power understood our requirement and found a generator which met the specification which we needed. They have been on hand to deliver training on how to test the equipment and would thoroughly recommend them to other companies.
