New Data Centre Preparing to Launch

Provide a backup power solution to protect our servers during a power cut.
Our client, who specialises in the design, construction and maintenance of data centres both large and small, has come to us for a third time for one of their major clients. A large multinational data centre operator.
Working together with our client, The Rosebery Group, JS Power supplied 2 × 1650kVA diesel generators suitable for synchronising together to provide 3,300kVA of prime power and two 12,500 litre bunded fuel tanks.
Built to a demanding specification, the generators will be required to operate continuously until the incoming mains is upgraded and then switch to a standby system once the upgrade is complete.
The sets, once installed, were then fully commissioned and load tested on site, to ensure that the generators would do what was required of them.
With the data centre due to go live shortly JS Power has also produced a maintenance schedule that will keep the generators serviced and maintained 24 hours a day.
