Energy Monitoring Service Launches
Using the Hawk 5000 device, JS Power Limited can now perform a site survey and create an electrical energy usage report. The device can be used to monitor the incoming mains voltage, current, phase balancing, hi and low demands and it is performed in a non-intrusive/ destructive way which does not require a power down of any systems.
The Hawks’ CTs are clamped around your incoming mains cables (up to 1000Amps per phase) and over a period of up to 7 days, the device monitors the demands made by either the whole or part of your site.
This information gathered, can then be used to help identify times during the day and night and help with identifying equipment that is inefficient to run.

Our engineers come to site and connect up the device. The device then monitors your power usage for a period of time (typically 5 – 7 days). The data is then complied into a report which shows the demands placed on your incoming power systems. The information in the report is then used to help to size up an emergency generator.
